Life Skills and Confidence Building
Our belief is that Performing Arts Classes provide essential Life Skills that help develop students confidence, nurtures them to be more expressive and helps them progress throughout their chosen career with skills they will use in everyday life.
- Performing Arts can build confidence through group drama games which progresses to performing in an ensemble. Promoting team building and interaction!
- Developing characters and experimenting with vocal dynamics encourage expressive use of language which improves articulation giving more confidence when used for public speaking!
- Learning Scripts develops memory, reading skills and builds analytic skills which help anticipate other students character responses as a large part of acting involves re-acting to other performers.
- Dance and movement improves co-ordination and builds core strength which is a great way of staying fit and healthy whilst learning a new skill or routine.
- Improvisation helps students become more expressive and aware of their own choices, helping develop their ideas into a reality whilst encouraging imagination and free thinking!
Best of all the classes are fun, informative and spark imagination and joy whilst learning useful skills that will stay with them forever!

optional Accredited Exams
Our Syllabus compliments working towards optional speech and drama or musical theatre exams so students can gain accredited qualifications from Trinity College London. Higher grades provide UCAS points which can help towards university entry. Optional Examinations require additional lessons outside of the stage school time, how many lessons depend on the grade you are currently studying towards and how much external study hours you have spent on your exam pieces.
